AdEx at DappCon Berlin: Recap
The AdEx team attended DappCon24 and hosted a Web3 marketers drinks & meet up event - find out more about what we did while in Berlin in May 2024.
We’re back from Berlin and we’re excited to share with you how that went! We talked to so many great people from the Ethereum ecosystem, established very important connections, and as a bonus had a few drinks with industry friends, too.
Participation in DappCon24
DappCon is hosted by the Gnosis team in the stunning cultural center Radialsystem on the river Spree in Berlin. It is an annual developer conference for Ethereum infrastructure and dApps visited by over 900 people which provides an opportunity for blockchain professionals to get together, network, and stay up to date with the latest trends in the ecosystem. Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, was amongst the 2024 speakers and participated in a very anticipated fireside chat on the last day of Dappcon!
AdEx’s team was on the ground to talk Web3 marketing, digital advertising and showcase how we are harnessing the power of AI to supercharge the ad platform. We even got a chance to give out some amazing swag. Don’t worry if you missed out on the AdEx goodies: we will have them at other events later in 2024, e.g. EthCC in Belgium, as well as Devcon in Thailand.
AdEx Web3 Marketers Meet Up & Drinks
After a very successful Web3 growth marketers dinner during Devconnect in Istanbul in November 2023, AdEx was back with a side event for Berlin Blockchain Week and DappCon in May 2024, too!
We held a Web3 Marketers Meet Up & Drinks at the stylish East Side Bar with great views over the Spree River, cold refreshing drinks, tasty bites, and riveting conversations!
We were commended for creating events specifically for marketers. In the Ethereum space, most conferences and events are focused on developers, but marketing is crucial for the success of a product, project, or service, and there are few opportunities for marketers to meet and share tips, experiences, and knowledge with each other.
Our guests were very interesting people representing various projects, networks, and even crypto NGOs, some of whom had traveled all the way from Argentina to attend Berlin Blockchain Week. We compared notes about marketing trends, successes, and challenges in different geographical areas, and touched on so many different topics - e.g. how to build a successful community, how digital advertising can really boost your marketing efforts, and how AdEx can help advertisers to get the best results for their budgets.
We also connected with future advertisers who cannot wait to test the platform and use it as part of their marketing strategy, as well as established connections with potential partners so that we can offer the best experience and results to our users.
All in all, the AdEx Marketers event was another resounding success - and we are already planning the next. Keep your eyes peeled closer to EthCC[7] in Brussels in July 2024 - we are looking forward to seeing you again then!
