AdEx AURA Development Update & 2025 Review
Find out what the most important developments were for AdEx AURA in the final quarter of 2025 as we also take a look back at the whole year.
In the first days of 2026, it is time for the final AdEx AURA development update for the year, as well as a recap of the most important milestones as a whole for the last 12 months.
So let’s have a look at what happened between August and December 2025:
Vaults.fyi integration
We integrated the Vaults.fyi API into our backend. This API serves as an additional source of truth for the best available yield opportunities, enabling us to deliver even more user aligned recommendations. We further enhanced these recommendations by adding transactional support, allowing users to execute one-click strategies directly from the AdEx AURA interface.
API Launch & Hackathon
We launched the public version of the AdEx AURA API and celebrated it with a hackathon with $12K in rewards to showcase its usability. The insights gathered from this event helped us refine the AdEx AURA API into an exemplary product for AI-powered DeFi insights. There were so many good submissions that we ended up awarding an additional 4 prizes, apart from the promised 4 winners. You can find out more about the winning projects on the blog.
New UI for AdEx AURA
The AdEx AURA app got a facelift as part of the development of an AdEx app that will in future incorporate all products and services offered (AURA, Staking etc). Meanwhile we also started a branding exercise aimed at redefining the AdEx brand visual identity and creating a totally new positioning framework. These developments will allow us to better express the value of AdEx, increase market visibility and create a brand that resonates with both: degens and newcomers.

Technical developments
- Defined internal taxonomy of crypto assets to further improve recommendations and reduce the risk of producing low-quality strategies.
- Upgraded internal analytics systems: we added a feedback loop that helps catch incorrect recommendations. This data will be used to refine our system prompts, and in the future, additional agents will be added to automatically correct faulty recommendations.
- Updated internal platform and token strategies models: with this change we will be able to provide more detailed data about available strategies to LLM models hence reducing AI hallucinations
- Internal Admin Panel: We implemented an admin panel that enables us to add, remove, and modify strategies in real time, ensuring we can better react to changing market trends.
- OpenAi Model migration: We detected an increase in the hallucination rate of the currently used GPT-5-mini model, so we have switched to the GPT-5 model
- Alibaba Qwen model integration: Recently released Alpha Arena project by nof1, which evaluates models in live trading environments, provided insights into the performance of non-US models in crypto-related tasks. With Qwen3 Max and DeepSeek v3.1 leading the charts, we decided to integrate the Qwen3 Max model and benchmark it against our currently used models for our use case.
- Strategies history: We’ve implemented a feature that allows users to view, rate, and share their strategy recommendations, all without needing to share their wallet addresses.
- Prompt Management System: We are continuing to work on incremental improvements to our backend, that will allow us to faster iterate and test new prompt changes.
- X402 payments integrated: We have integrated x402 payments into our api, allowing programmatic payments in agent-to-agent and MCP workflows.
- DeFi Position Syncing: We started work on pulling users’ DeFi positions. Once this feature is implemented, we’ll be able to provide recommendations not only for idle assets but also for assets that are already deposited but not optimized for the APY they could be earning.
- New Networks Discovery: We started working on a feature that will make it easy to add new networks to the AURA recommendations system.
AdEx participation in Devconnect
AdEx AURA returned to the events circuit after taking a short break. We sponsored two major events focused on agentic systems, Epic Web3’s “Agents Day” and “Agentic Zero” during Devconnect week in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in November 2025. Co-Founder and CEO Ivo Georgiev spoke on a panel covering DeFAI, prediction agents, and verifiable yield during Agents Day, and we had dedicated booths at both events. 2025 review and look ahead
The progress we’ve made with AdEx AURA in 2025 reflects not just development milestones, but a fundamental shift in how Web3 users interact with their assets and opportunities. This year we successfully launched the AURA demo, giving users a first taste of a proactive, AI-native Web3 co-pilot that analyzes on-chain behavior and delivers personalized insights without complex prompts, and further backed it with solid improvements in prompt engineering, performance, and multi-chain support.
We also strengthened the ecosystem around AURA, from integrating real-time on-chain data through the CoinGecko Model Context Protocol to upgrading the $ADX staking mechanism in a way that aligns with AURA’s expanding utility.
2025 was about building the foundation — laying down the architecture, partnerships, and community tools that will power AURA’s evolution into a fully autonomous AI agent capable of delivering real-time insights, strategy execution, and seamless integration into wallets, dApps, and the broader Web3 infrastructure.
Looking ahead, we’re looking to expand beyond the demo and early tester phases into deeper automation, broader developer adoption, and even more powerful on-chain intelligence. This would be setting the stage for a future where Web3 is not just navigable, but intelligently guided by AURA’s capabilities.
